About Us
Four generations of heritage. One timeless legacy. ✨
As Singapore marks 60 years of independence, we look back to honour the pioneers who shaped our nation’s heart and soul. Among them is Che Zahara Noor Mohamed (1907–1962) — a fearless advocate for women, children, and the underserved from the 1940s to 1960s. She helped establish the Women’s Charter of Singapore.
Today, her granddaughter, Rita Zahara and great-granddaughter, Nadhrah Alhadi carry forward her mission of courage, compassion, and change — reimagined through art, fashion, and social inclusion.
Our limited-edition hijab pieces — beginning with our debut collection — are crafted in collaboration with Persons with Disabilities (PWD), turning art into empowerment.
More than fashion. More than art.
Zahara Legacy is a movement — for inclusion, for opportunity, for beauty with meaning.
Every creation supports social inclusion, PWD employment, and keeps alive the values of Che Zahara: justice, compassion, and empowerment.
As the late Mohamed Nazeer Alal Mohamed Rasull remembers his mother, Che Zahara, the timeless strains of ‘Getaran Jiwa’ by Tan Sri P. Ramlee echoes her spirit —
“Tak mungkin hilang
Sinar bintangmu terus gemilang
Dan jasamu, segala baktimu
Akan terus kekal ke akhir waktu”
“It can never fade.
The light of your star shines on in brilliance.
And your deeds, all your service,
Will endure until the end of time.”
Wear the legacy. Share the story.
